Maisha Cannon
Maisha L. Cannon is a Prosci-certified change practitioner and AI adoption strategist who helps organizations close the gap between AI awareness and actual implementation. As founder of The Collab Lab, Inc., she partners with teams inside real workflows, helping new tools become practical habits that improve how work gets done. She has trained 200+ learners across 20+ organizations, earned a learner NPS of 74, and helped teams save 20+ hours per week through practical AI integration. Maisha brings 9 years of facilitation experience, a calm and inclusive presence, and a deep belief that clear systems unlock human potential.
Brian Zuluaga
Brian Zuluaga is a Senior Associate supporting the Centre for Public Impact’s Government Legitimacy & Innovation teams. In this role, Brian has worked with local governments across the United States to build trust in government, embed design-thinking and innovation techniques into government processes, and to foster more inclusive economies. Previously, Brian was a Legislative Fellow for Senator Jeremy S. McPike of Virginia’s 29th District. He has also worked at the National Hispanic Caucus of State Legislators, a non-profit organization, representing over 300 elected Hispanic State legislators throughout the United States, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Brian holds a BA in Public Policy and Leadership from the University of Virginia. He currently serves on the National Advisory Council for the National Conference on Race and Ethnicity in Higher Education, the Batten Alumni Advisory Board, and the UVA Hispanic/Latinx Bolivar Network. Brian is also the proud founder of the Batten Latinx Network at the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy. Brian is an abolitionist, a believer in mentorship, a bibliophile, a part-time DJ, and a firm believer in radical systems change. Within the public and social sector, Brian works toward a future where everyone flourishes in life and systemic racism is eradicated from our society.
Angela Umoru-David
Angela Umoru-David is a creative and multifaceted communicator who maximizes diverse strategies for capturing plurality of views and contributing to the development sector. She also has experience in project design, panel moderation, training and facilitation, project management, stakeholder engagement and non-profit operations. Her work in the development space has cut across soft skills education, mental health advocacy, providing access to WASH facilities, voluntary blood donation advocacy and creating opportunities for youth volunteering. Most recently, she has been working in the racial equity space, utilizing human-centered design to implement effective communication strategies and support the development of solutions. With experience in communication strategy development, digital communication, content development and branding for nonprofits, she is passionate about positively influencing the African narrative and promoting cross-cultural collaboration for more equitable societies. Also an essayist and solutions journalist, 5 of her stories are available on the global Solutions Journalism Tracker. Angela possesses a B.A in Mass Communication and an M.A (in view) in the same discipline from Liverpool John Moores University, United Kingdom. She is a World Literacy Ambassador (2020 Class), Atlas Corps Scholar (2021) and current Atlas Corps Fellow, serving with a racial equity-focused nonprofit in Washington DC, USA.
Astou Dia
Astou is the founder of A to A Partners, a business and relationship coaching firm that helps individuals and groups transform their teams and their businesses. She is also one of the co-founders of Impact Hub Abidjan an incubator and accelerator based in Abidjan. Before starting her own ventures, Astou was Associate Partner and Office Director at Dalberg, a strategy consulting firm focusing on international development. Astou’s global coaching and facilitation skills stem from seventeen years of experience in strategy and management consulting in Europe and Africa. She has worked with private corporations, governments, communities, and donors in areas such as governance and operational effectiveness, agriculture and food security, health, youth employment, access to finance, and women’s economic empowerment. Astou has led various engagements, in West, Central, and East Africa. She led missions spanning sectorial studies (institutional framework, value chain analysis, etc.), program design (industrialization, financial services for SHF, women participation, etc.), identification of investment opportunities (investment cycles analysis, identification of bankable operations, etc.), and impact evaluation (midline and endline program evaluations). She worked with multiple development organizations as well as private sector players across Africa to foster private investment. Astou worked with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) on its Investment Support Program (ISP) to provide a deep understanding of the institutional framework as well as the challenges facing private investment in the agricultural sector in Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, and Tanzania. She supported the Millennium Challenge Corporation in conducting comprehensive diagnostics of the agriculture and food security systems and in designing interventions to lift constraints to private sector investment in The Gambia, Togo, and Ethiopia. Astou is fluent in French and English and has a strong working knowledge of Spanish and Italian. She holds a Masters in International Economics from École Normale Supérieure (ENS) Cachan in association with Université Panthéon Sorbonne, Paris.
