Danette Wilkins Marte
Danette Wilkins Marte (they/them, elle, elu) is an expansive strategist, intuitive facilitator, and liberatory changemaker with over 20 years of experience providing strategic, technical, programmatic, and operational support to diverse organizations and groups and implementing research, programming, and training across the globe (primarily Central America, North America, South America, and Southern Africa). Prior to consulting, Danette worked with U.S. government agencies (U.S Agency for International Development, U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Peace Corps), consulting firms (Cultural Practice, Tetra Tech), international non-governmental organizations (Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs), and academic institutions (Emory University, Johns Hopkins University) addressing a wide range of health and development areas including agriculture and economic growth, democracy and governance, education, environment and natural resources, and health (e.g., animal disease preparedness and response, gender-based violence, mental health and psychosocial support, sexual and reproductive health). They also have demonstrated experience in gender mainstreaming and integration (e.g., men’s and boys’ engagement, women’s and girls’ empowerment), social and behavior change (e.g., entertainment education, gender transformative approaches, provider behavior change), and diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (e.g., gender equality, disability, and social inclusion, gender and sexuality diversity, and LGBTQI+ inclusion). Danette holds a bachelor of arts degree in Hispanic Studies and Government from the College of William and Mary, a graduate diploma in Gender and Development from the Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO) in Ecuador, and a master of public health degree in Behavioral Sciences and Health Education from Emory University. Outside of formal schooling and training, they pursue informal learning through popular education and self-directed learning. As an Afrodiasporic child of immigrants and working-class people, Danette’s approach to facilitation values the wisdom of lived experience and centers humility, curiosity, empathy, authenticity, and respect.
Dylan McKenzie
Dylan McKenzie helps people learn, create, and take action by translating complexity into engaging, practical learning experiences. He has spent over a decade designing programs that connect creativity, education, and business, empowering people to build sustainable practices and unlock new opportunities. Dylan co-founded the NYU Game Center Incubator, where independent developers launched successful games and learned how to sustain their creative work. During his tenure, he helped grow the NYU Game Center from a two-class pilot into the world’s top-ranked game design program. At Teamshares, he led education for a national network of employee-owned small businesses, designing and scaling a learning system that supported over $4 million in wealth transfer to blue-collar workers. Now, Dylan is developing Project Rhythm, a music-learning game that helps beginners bridge the gap from curiosity to creating their first track. His consulting work spans clients such as ESPN, the Canadian Consulate, and the Sloan Foundation, with projects ranging from product exploration to curriculum and grant design. As a facilitator and program designer, Dylan centers his practice on clarity, creativity, and collaboration, helping technical and non-technical teams alike learn by doing and turn ideas into meaningful impact. He holds an MA in Arts Entrepreneurship and a BS in Media, Culture, and Communication, both from New York University.

Alexandra (Alex) Gaspar Martins Teixeira
Alexandra (Alex) Gaspar Martins Teixeira (she/her) is a collective intelligence enthusiast, master facilitator and technical strategist with over 25 years of experience designing and facilitating participatory meetings and convenings for high-performing teams and organizational collaboratives including FHI 360, Ipas, MSI Reproductive Choices, the Urgent Action Fund, the World Health Organization and UNFPA among others. Prior to consulting, Alex spent 11 years advancing access to safe abortion at Ipas where she partnered with global teams and led organization-wide initiatives as a Senior Advisor for Technical Innovation and Excellence, the Associate Director for Community Engagement and Policy Advocacy and as the Senior Advisor for Organizational Learning. Alex has also served as the Philanthropic Partnerships Officer for the Astraea Foundation, as a Global Research & Policy Advisor for the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission (now OutRight Action International) and as a Program Fellow with the Global Fund for Women. She has served on the board of directors of the Safe Abortion Action Fund (UK), The Stone House (NC), the Third Wave Foundation (NY) and Resource Generation (NY). Alex has designed and led over 70 high-stakes participatory workshops, retreats and convenings for over 2000 stakeholders across Africa, Asia and North America. She is among the most seasoned facilitators, globally, of Abortion Values Clarification for Action & Transformation (VCAT) Workshops where she has led community members, activists, health care providers, ministry officials, multilateral donors and embassies—all with wide ranging positions on abortion—through a process that shifts their orientation from one of contentious debate to an opportunity for empathy and principled collaboration to advance bodily autonomy. She has trained and mentored over 150 emerging facilitators and team leaders globally on designing and facilitating inclusive, liberatory and participatory meetings. With two decades of experience advancing equity and justice through philanthropy and global health programming, Alex approaches facilitation as a strategic opportunity to practice high-impact, equity-based collaboration skills that live on beyond our convenings. Alex brings skillful attention to transforming personal, interpersonal and systemic barriers to meaningful participation. She is passionate about helping groups connect, navigate principled disagreement, prioritize, focus, and align towards powerful actions that advance justice, joy and wellbeing in the world. Alex is a recipient of the Wildacres Leadership Initiative William C. Friday Fellowship (2014-2016), holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and French Literature from Connecticut College and a master’s degree in International Affairs with a focus on gender, sexuality and international human rights from Columbia University. As the first member of her family to attend university, she is humbled to stand on the shoulders of self-taught entrepreneurs, savvy dissidents, survivors of Portuguese dictatorship and lovers of learning. She currently lives in Durham, North Carolina, in the Southeastern United States, in a beloved cross-class, multi-racial intentional community of gorgeously imperfect humans trying to build deep interdependence.
James Pearson
James Pearson is an independent facilitator who helps public, corporate, and community teams work through complex, high-stakes challenges, especially when the way forward isn’t clear. With a background in IT, a Master’s in Cultural Anthropology, and over a decade of facilitation experience, James brings a unique mix of analytical thinking, cultural sensitivity, and practical delivery skills to his work. He specialises in process facilitation, co-design, and systems thinking, and has led cross-sector initiatives ranging from national freshwater regulations and biodiversity strategies to organisational redesign and digital transformation. After 13 years working in Aotearoa New Zealand, James is now based in the U.S. and brings a global perspective to his work across contexts and cultures. James thrives in messy, multi-stakeholder environments — the kind of work where strong relationships, creative thinking, and clarity of purpose make all the difference.
Daniela Vollmer
Daniela Vollmer is a designer turned economist with 10 years of experience in social impact consulting, economic development, and the design and implementation of public policy. She has collaborated with NGOs, foundations, and government organizations in the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean. She has held roles primarily focused on project management, design, implementation, and evaluation, as well as qualitative and quantitative research with an emphasis on behavioraleconomics and human-centered design. Daniela has developed and implemented projects to address cross-sectoral challenges, such as: promoting equitable access to healthcare services, capacity building and labor economics, tackling food insecurity in rural areas, and improving women’s financial health, among others.She holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
Raleshaba Moeng
Raleshaba Moeng was a co-founder of CVC Africa, a company which specializes in assisting entrepreneurs to grow their innovative ideas into viable business ventures and startups. He is currently a director of Bayhead Capital – leading teams that provide transaction support services to the mergers and acquisitions industry globally. Raleshaba has been previously exposed to a number of industries in his capacity as a consultant for the Johannesburg office of McKinsey & Company including mining, oil and gas, financial services and energy. Raleshaba has vast technology sector experience – notable roles include IBM South Africa in the area of software support; and DELL-EMC in the role of pre-sales and consulting. He was also a software developer for First National Bank in their ATM network. Academically, Raleshaba has completed a BSc in Computer Science, Informatics and Finance and he has also completed an MBA with a specialization in Entrepreneurship. More recently, he has completed the Executive Development Programme (EDP) with the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business. Raleshaba has corporate governance experience and expertise, serving as a member of the Board of the Automotive Industry Development Centre (AIDC). He also served as a member of the Social and Ethics Committee (SEC) of the Gauteng Growth and Development Agency of South Africa (GGDA). He also has public sector experience with the Trans Calledon Tunnel Authority (TCTA), a division of the South African government’s Department of Water Affairs. Raleshaba continues to serve as a mentor and facilitator for a number of entrepreneurship programs and other clients. He was a part time faculty member of the University of South Africa (UNISA) and adjunct faculty at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) enterprise development academy where he lectures on the topics of entrepreneurship, business models and problem-solving methodologies including design thinking. Notable facilitation clients he has served recently include USAID; the Mastercard Foundation; the Young Africans Leadership initiative (YALI); as well as the Allan and Gill Gray Philanthropies.
