Lorena Tamayo is a speaker, facilitator, Business and Life Coach endorsed by ICF focused on conscious Leadership and purposeful organizations, with 15+ years of corporate experience in Sales, Trade Marketing, and Marketing in Latin America. Her passion is to empower individuals and organizations to lead their lives and their teams with meaning and direction. Lorena is a self-starter and catalyst defined by curiosity, authenticity, and her contagious energy to make things happen. She is bilingual (English & Spanish), and is a native Spanish speaker. Lorena is also an NYC & Berlin Marathon Finisher.

Cheryl Shah

Cheryl Shah’s 20+ years of corporate experience have led her to the conclusion that there must be a better way to lead, live and work. Her extensive work experience makes her an accessible and empathetic speaker and facilitator who can connect with the daily challenges of leaders and help uncover their potential to lead with extraordinary compassion and wisdom for higher employee engagement, resilience, and performance. Cheryl is a Certified Mindful Self-Compassion teacher, a curriculum developed by Kristen Neff and Chris Germer, through the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion.  She has a deep self-compassion practice that has given her resources to support her during times of stress and burn-out at work and given her the courage to make difficult decisions.  She regularly works with a mindfulness and self-compassion mentor to embody the skills she teaches.  Self-Compassion has given Cheryl more capacity to give compassion to others in her professional and personal life. Cheryl is a Sr Facilitator for Potential Project and a Certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher for over 7 years at Qualcomm and UCSD, Center for Mindfulness. Cheryl is also the Co-Director of Workplace Programs for UCSD and is a Sr Facilitator for Mindful Leader.  Cheryl lives with her husband in San Diego, CA and they have two beautiful adult daughters. She enjoys playing tennis, traveling, hiking, and spending time with friends & family.

Caterina Rodriguez

Caterina (Cat) Rodriguez helps organizations redesign how work happens. As an organizational strategist and facilitation leader, she partners with teams to align around what matters, make better decisions together, and build ways of working that support lasting momentum. Across global teams and cross-sector initiatives, Cat works with leaders and distributed organizations navigating strategic inflection points and organizational complexity. She is often brought in when teams are working hard yet struggling to move forward together. Cat brings particular depth to mission-driven organizations where the stakes are high and the work is inherently human. Through thoughtfully designed, participatory processes, she helps teams align on what matters most and redesign the systems and practices that shape decision-making and collaboration. At the heart of her work is a belief that how people work together shapes what becomes possible, and that better ways of working change what organizations can achieve. Originally from the Dominican Republic and fluent in both English and Spanish, Cat facilitates across cultures, time zones, and contexts. She holds Masters degrees from Boston College and Duke University, facilitation certifications from Voltage Control and AJ&Smart, and is a Certified Change Management Professional (CCMPTM).

Mara D’Amico

Mara D’Amico is an experienced facilitation consultant, having worked with a diverse range of partners to achieve their goals by designing and facilitating events where participants connect in thoughtful and engaging ways. She has built meetings and events through a participatory model with nonprofit organizations, government agencies, colleges and universities, community groups, faith-based organizations, corporations, and others. Mara works for the Michigan Women’s Health Initiative at Michigan Medicine within the University of Michigan. Mara leads engagement with physicians, practices, communities, and patients and works to improve women’s health so that it’s responsive to their needs, respects their preferences, and supports them in leading safe, healthy lives. She previously worked as Program Manager on the Strategies for Health Equity team at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists to ensure all women can access the full range of reproductive health care options in the United States. Mara also served as a McLarty Scholar and the Hillary Rodham Clinton Communications Fellow at the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security, and served two terms as an AmeriCorps member in Miami, Florida. She graduated from the Clinton School of Public Service, earning a Master of Public Service degree, and earned a B.S. in International Business and Spanish from Central Michigan University. Mara lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She is a volunteer crisis counsellor with Crisis Text Line, a board member for OAR of Arlington (an anti-racist and restorative justice organization), a board member for Planned Parenthood Advocates of Michigan, a committee member with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Maternal Infant Health, Health Equity Action Committee and the Optimal Birth Spacing Action Committee, and a member of the Vital Voices Young Leaders Council. She is also a New Leaders Council DC alumna and a graduate of the American University Women in Politics Institute WeLead Program.

Maz Bednarczyk

Maz Bednarczyk (they/them) is an expert in intercultural education with more than eight years of experience developing and delivering training courses, workshops, and e-learning activities on human rights, global citizenship, non-formal education, and more. She holds two Bachelor’s degrees in International Security and Ugrofinnic Studies, and a Master’s degree in Crisis Management. At the beginning of her academic career, she specialized in Finland’s national security system and its impact on the Baltic Sea region. She later went on to research peace education as a tool for building human security at the grassroots level. During her studies, Maz worked tirelessly as a volunteer coordinator and brand manager at Youth For Understanding (YFU) – an international organization dedicated to intercultural education through youth exchange programs. At YFU, she gained experience as a trainer and facilitator in the areas of intercultural communication, social inclusion, and global competence. Through a variety of international projects, Maz has gained skills in project management, event coordination, team building, and youth work. After graduation, she focused on minority rights in Lithuania and interned at the European Foundation of Human Rights, a non-governmental organization that helps victims of human rights violations and hate speech. After graduation, she began working as a publicist and radio commentator in the local language-minority media. She regularly uses her voice to advocate for women’s empowerment, gender and racial equality, social justice, and sustainable living. Since the beginning of 2021, Maz has been serving as Training Manager Fellow at Atlas Corps, coordinating components of the Global Leadership Lab and Virtual Leadership Institute programs, including keynote speakers, interactive workshops, self-led activities, discussion groups, and community-building activities with leading U.S. organizations and international leaders.
