Angela Umoru-David is a creative and multifaceted communicator who maximizes diverse strategies for capturing plurality of views and contributing to the development sector. She also has experience in project design, panel moderation, training and facilitation, project management, stakeholder engagement and non-profit operations. Her work in the development space has cut across soft skills education, mental health advocacy, providing access to WASH facilities, voluntary blood donation advocacy and creating opportunities for youth volunteering. Most recently, she has been working in the racial equity space, utilizing human-centered design to implement effective communication strategies and support the development of solutions. With experience in communication strategy development, digital communication, content development and branding for nonprofits, she is passionate about positively influencing the African narrative and promoting cross-cultural collaboration for more equitable societies. Angela possesses a B.A in Mass Communication and an M.A (in view) in the same discipline from Liverpool John Moores University, United Kingdom. She is a World Literacy Ambassador (2020 Class), Atlas Corps Scholar (2021) and current Atlas Corps Fellow, serving with a racial equity-focused nonprofit in Washington DC, USA.
