Dee Dee Mendez worked in Corporate Human Resources for 35 years as both an internal and external program manager and consultant. She specializes in coaching leaders and individual contributors to set intentions and to reach their personal and professional goals in life. Dee Dee has an M.A. in Human Resources Management from Marymount University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. This degree provided her the foundation to develop and implement Human Resources and Organizational Development interventions that support high-performing individuals, teams, and organizations. Dee Dee is very passionate about re-imagining a human-centered Human Resources profession for Human Sustainability, where employees are valued as individual souls and considered more than “headcount” or worse, as FTE’s (Full Time Equivalents). She is also a certified Feng Shui Master with a BTB Feng Shui Practitioner Certification™. With this certification, she has adapted the 5,000 year-old teachings about how to thrive in a stressful world into contemporary and practical personal development tools and techniques for my clients. On a personal level, Dee Dee is a trailblazer in the DIY-parenting space and is leading the way to an alternative way of creating a family. Having been divorced for 10 years and with no relationship prospects on the horizon, she asked a friend if he would be willing to donate so that she could become a mom. Without any doctors or medical professionals involved, Dee Dee conceived her baby at the age of 42.
