Marianne Montalvo is an international education and youth expert with 18 years of experience in designing and managing programs and facilitating learning for staff and participants globally. Ms. Montalvo has facilitated in-person and virtual meetings, design sessions, workshops, and training for individuals across the world for strategy, program design, training of trainers, staff engagement, and staff upskilling. She has facilitated the design of projects in workforce development, entrepreneurship, education, gender, social inclusion, and monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning. Ms. Montalvo has extensive experience facilitating virtual meetings and regularly uses tools such as Miro, Mural, and Mentimeter. She is dedicated in her facilitation practice to creating spaces where people can think clearly and creatively about the big problems facing their organizations, lives, and our world.

Ms. Montalvo’s background in education has led to the development of curricula and tools for youth development, literacy, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and work readiness programs, as well as professional development within organizations. She has managed USAID-funded, youth-focused programs in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and in Washington DC. Ms. Montalvo has worked across Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. She holds an Ed.M. in International Education Policy from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.A. in History from Yale University.
