UFacilitate

Bold strategies span continents. Facilitation helps them succeed.

Program officers in multilateral institutions navigate governments, donors, and complex cultural contexts. We help them build the trust and collaboration that turn ambitious plans into lasting impact.

In global systems, policy alone does not create change

Inside multilateral institutions, strong strategies often meet the realities of diverse offices, shifting priorities, and local sensitivities. Culture building itself becomes a challenge — finding the balance between what a global organization requires and what local teams need to make it real.

Facilitation helps bridge those worlds. It creates the space for ministries, donors, and implementers to listen to one another, build understanding, and find shared direction. When that happens, complexity becomes a source of insight and collaboration rather than a barrier to progress.

Turning institutional mandates into collective action

Here’s how UFacilitate creates value for multilateral leaders:

  • Accelerate alignment across governments and partners by surfacing tensions early and finding common ground.
  • Bridge cultural divides with facilitation fluent in both global systems and local realities.
  • Design catalytic convenings that move conversation into coordinated action and lasting partnership.
  • Strengthen leadership capacity so program officers can facilitate collaboration long after the convening ends.
  • Scale impact globally through our community of more than 200 facilitators working in over 40 countries.

Where global strategies meet local realities

Behind every global program are people. Ministries, donors, and implementers trying to move together across cultures and institutions. When those relationships lose connection, progress slows. When they are tended to with care, change becomes possible.

Facilitation helps multilateral teams stay connected across distance, culture, and hierarchy. It brings partners into genuine dialogue, helping them listen, bridge differences, and align around shared purpose. The result is a strategy that is co-owned by stakeholders and sustained through the realities of implementation.

Our Approach:

Build shared understanding across ministries, donors, and regional teams.

Navigate tension with openness and respect.

Create alignment that holds through complexity and change.

Ground strategy in shared ownership so it endures beyond the project timeline.

Trusted by leaders in complex systems

“The [peer coaching] sessions are extremely useful — we tackle real issues and come up with practical solutions. The group discussions are lively, and I’ve even connected with members outside the sessions for support and sharing expertise. It’s something I look forward to each month.”

Advancing one health collaboration in Annecy, France

We partnered with a global network of scientists, funders, policymakers, and business leaders to design and facilitate a three-day in-person workshop exploring the development of a sustainable “One Health” business case for disease surveillance and control.

Our engagement included stakeholder interviews and preparatory webinars to align diverse participants, a multi-stage facilitation process using systems thinking and participatory leadership methods, and the co-creation of “Annecy Principles” guiding values for integrated One Health approaches. The collaboration culminated in comprehensive roadmaps and actionable recommendations to guide future regional pilots and global policy initiatives.
